Lithoids: Amazing ships and portraits but ranks lower due to awful playstyle associated with lithoids. Plantoids: Ships are okay but portraits are cool. Humanoids: Ships are awesome, portraits are meh Great music despite it not feeling like stellaris but its new and calming which fits the narrative. More great musicĪncient relics: Relics are awesome such as the baol. Awesome new stories if you like roleplay. Huge space monsters that give you very sweet bonuses. Some of the best music in the game such as the masterpiece that is synthetic god.ĭistant stars: Tons of new stories, events and anomalies, LGATE is awesome, Grey tempest crisis. Synthetic dawn: Machine empires a better hivemind in almost every way and is actually fun and strong to play unlike hives, Machine uprising aka the matrix, Contingency added which is by far the best end game crisis story wise and its also the hardest when it functioned, sadly its broken right now. If you like being a power player and a xenophobe taking over the galaxy this DLC delivers very nicely for sure. Thens comes light and hostile fleet detected are some of the best music the game has to offer EVER. Exterminatus, Titans give a big power fantasy. MEGASHIPYARD is AWESOME.Īpocalypse: Huge changes to the war system. More new events and politics the game truly needed. Machine world start is badass, New federation types are awesome and add alot of flavor for those that LOVE diplomacy. This DLC is the best buy you can getįederations: Origins are awesome, Want to roleplay as precursors? Ringworld, Want a relic world for a Coruscant homeworld? Remnants. Also added hive minds despite how boring hive minds arefirst time we got an entirely new empire type. The shroud is also very fun despite being the worst. Utopia: Megastructures, ascension perks and traditions are the best things prob added to the game. Yep over a year later.īut with all the negativity in this thread ill add some positives to each DLC i put in the list But i cant deny it also had the most content and changes, but sadly that content and all the changes broke the game and paradox to this day is still trying to fix the problems megacorp added. Megacorp remains my least favorite DLC to date. Many cool things got removed, such as the nomads (Replaced by caravaneers) Megacorperations are a pretty boring playstyle atleast for me, and many other changes. And since sector ai is busted, GL having fun playing an empire that has 60 planets and you have to click on them one at a time and specialize them and resettle unemployment. The amount of micro added to the DLC and planet/pop management is hell on earth. Sector ai got reworked and now no longer functions ever have you ever conquered an enemy empire and they have all their building slots being police buildings and luxury residence? Yep. Ai got worse over time and now barely functions since 2.2. 2.2 Broke the end game crisis and still remains to this day. Well ever since the release of megacorp many things in the game broke and have remained broken, New pop system is one HUGE reason on why the late game slow down is a thing, The economy got reworked into a really annoying way. Utopia > Federations > apocalypse > Synthetic dawn > Distant stars > Leviathans > Ancient relics > Humanoids > plantoids > Lithoids > Megacorp My stellaris dlc preference from best to worst. THIS IS ALL MY OPINION AND SUBJECTIVE please understand that, obviously everyone is different and prefers other things. But some dlcs and general content is better then others. Stellaris will always be my favorite game, almost 2500 hours and counting.
